    The nursery idea I am most proud of right now came from walking around Ikea - in their kids' display rooms they had framed kids' art work - I decided to ask my three nieces to draw something for the nursery and we will frame it and display it.  I gave them a general color scheme - but told their parents I was flexible if anyone had a strong artistic inclination to do otherwise;0

     Amy - My cousin is an art major and she somehow took picture of cartoon monkeys from things on my registry, had them transferred and drew over them in crayon.  Seems pretty simple.  I love how they fit perfectly in our nursery.

    Thanks guys!!  We only have a 1 bedroom so it was hard making the nursery and our bedroom coexist. Will probably be even harder once baby is actually here! :)

     

    Love the idea of the children's artwork - and I puffy heart ikea! :)
