XP - need a new diaper bag.

This morning, a strap broke on my old gross one.  I could probably fix it temporarily ... but its pretty gross in general though. 

The one I *really* want is a $80 Vera Bradley tote ... and was hoping to hold off and ask for it for my birthday in September.  In the meantime, should I break down and buy a somewhat cheapo Carters bag for $32?  I have $10 in paypal GCs ... so I could get it for about $22 I guess.  Or should I make do and hold out?

    5 months is too long for me to be walking around with a jank strap so I'd gladly pay $22 to get me through.

    Thanks ladies.  I went ahead and ordered the cheaper one last night.  I'll have to wait until fall for my VB  :)

    Yeah, I guess I'm in the minority ... but I just really don't like PPBs.  Never have.
