Don't worry too much. Sometimes you just have an off day. If it continues to be high, let your doctor know. Otherwise, one high number shouldn't be a problem.
I did have a snack...but maybe not enough protein. I will try that tonight. My two hour number is high after breakfast this morning too, it's 125. Ick.
I was told if I waited too long to eat (i.e. too long to take fasting and then eat) that my body would start "feeding" off itself which makes your blood sugar go up. I'm not sure how much I buy that because I usually go 12+ hours without eating over bedtime so I think that is normal for my body. But hey, maybe that is what happens.
You could just need meds (or more meds if you're on them already) since now you can't exercise to burn the calories off. Good luck!

As my pregnancy progressed my fasting numbers were the hardest to control. That's because diet really doesn't help - it's your hormones taking control. If you get regular high fasting readings, they might have to put you on meds or up your meds if you are on them. I was on insulin, and they had to increase my dosage throughout my pregnancy.
Re: Now my fasting number is out of control
Maybe I'm totally remembering it wrong, but I thought if you don't have a snack in the evening that it could make your number high the next morning.
Mine was high the last couple of mornings, I've always been sick so I'm blaming the sickness
