He's always had breakfast at daycare (I nurse him when he wakes up so he isn't starving when he arrives). He got cereal & a pureed fruit until 10 months. Now he gets cheerios and diced fresh fruit, sometimes yogurt too.

I pack food to go to MIL for breakfast but I usually give him something while I'm getting dressed. He likes the crusts of cereal bars or some apple pieces to chew on. I also nurse him immediately when he gets up.
My MIL who watches Trent will likely do the morning feeding. Right now she does his lunch solid. DS doesn't really like to eat right when he wakes up anyhow so he will probably do better at her house.
breakfast solids at day care. we're still trying to make sure she gets most of her calories from formula/breastmilk so I make sure to feed her a bottle before we leave.
I was dreading this because we have a hard enough time getting out the door in the morning. My awesome DCP said she would feed Cora breakfast when we start. Woot!
My boys don't even want to take a bottle or eat anything for at least an hour after they wake up. DC feeds them breakfast.
So funny, DS is the same way. If I'm up super-early (which we all know happens..ugh) I'll feed him his bottle and then do "breakfast" about 30 minutes later. Most of the time though, DCP will end up doing it.
Re: Working moms, how did you add a solid for breakfast?
