So far I've done a pretty good job working out a few times per week, and not putting on a lot of weight during this pregnancy. I'm 28 weeks now, and still feel good.
But I feel like I just use the 'pregnancy' excuse (to myself!) when I get home from work, to keep from working out. I usually use the 'On Demand' workouts to do it at home.
Somebody please give me the key to staying motivated to continue working out during the rest of this pregnancy!!!!!!
Re: How do I stay motivated to workout?
Wish I could say something amazing to motivate you, but I need some motivation myself! It's so hard!
I have been trying to walk as much as I can outside. I keep reminding myself what my MW said about working out...exercising is great to prepare your body for the physical work of labor, the better shape I'm in, the more prepared my body will be for labor.
I stopped running at 28 weeks. Up until that point, the only time I wasn't nauseous was when I was running or working out. I think it is so hard to stay motivated during that last trimester. I just wanted to cheer you on. If you are exercising twice a week, that is great. Just try to keep going with it whenever you have the energy. Something is better than nothing.
Your twice a week is trumping my track record right now, and I am not even pg.
I'm just going to print out these inspirations and post them in my car, so I see them on my way home from work!
You ladies are awesome, and so supportive
