I'm going back when she is 12 weeks, and I will pump. I'm a teacher and I only work part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a half day on Wednesdays. So when I go back I'll only really work 7 days before break.
I have enough breaks where I can pump.

I am back to work full time. I pump one time in the morning after she feeds and pump another time midmorning and the last time midafternoon. I get enough each day for the next plus some to stash (my freezer has just over 500 ounces). I am not sure how it would even be possible to BF part time at this age, I am super full especially on Mondays after my 3 day weekends (I work 4 10 hour shifts M-Thurs). Good luck.
I am going to try pumping and see how it goes...I've been trying to train my body now so that I can pump at home in the morning, and then not again until lunch time, and then around 4:30 when I would be leaving work so that way I don't have to take unnecessary breaks during the day to pump.
I will bf and pump - I'm a teacher (but I work year round) and had no issue pumping for 10 months with my first and I plan on doing the same this time.
I plan on pumping although this may be difficult as my job is traveling from home to home to treat patients. We will see. I wasn't even sure BF would work out, but she has been a champ!
I'll start back at work PT next week (I'll be FT in June). I will BF when home and pump at work. DS's pedi was very encouraging about keeping up the BFing/pumping and gave me great advice about timing, etc. I think it will be challenging at first, but I really want to avoid formula if I can.
I plan to BF before & after work and pump during the day. Hoping I can manage during my commute to & from work (I drive 45+ mins to work) and during my morning and afternoon breaks.

How is the 4 10 hour shift going for you? I'm starting the exact same schedule (Fridays off) next month and I've never done 10 hour days before.
Re: BFing and returning to work
I only have to go back for a couple weeks before summer break. I plan to pump when I go back (or have the baby brought to me to bf)
When I go back for good, baby will be 6 months so we'll evaluate at that point.
