Does anyone go to mommy meet up groups?

 

Just curious if and where ...... I'm able to manage both LOs better now and would probably like to get out and see how one is

    Yep, I joined a couple when DS was around 3 months old and 1 out of 3 seemed to click for me, the other two were nice but not my type of people.  Now I don't do things through the meetup group as much b/c I've met a bunch of people and we organize stuff on our own.  GL!  We're out in the Naperville area.

    I went to my first meetup mommy group tonight.  It was fun to get to know some of the other bump ladies.

    Meetups sound fun because honestly, I need friends. Problem is my hubby works 730-5 during the week and is in the National Guard and we only have his work vehicle. On the weekends he's got basketball or bowling league and I feel ditched because I'm trapped in this apartment day in ay out.  Anyone live near Willowbrook/Darien and need someone to hang out with?

    i've joined meetup groups in the city proper, but i have yet to be able to attend an actual meetup. they are all over the place here in the city, but directly in my area (logan square) it's slim pickings - especially for kids around DS's age. sucky
