Any of your LO's had a reaction to Cefdinir?

My dd was in the ER twice and doctors office once in the past 4 days, with a 104.5 fever at times. Finally they decided on a severe ear infection and Bronchitis. Yesterday she broke out in a HORRIBLE rash. I rushed her into the doctor and they said its a reaction to cefdinir. She has had it before with no problems though. I thought it was Roseola, but they are insisting on a reaction. My question is if your little one has gotten upset stomach and a bad rash from cefdinir, when did it go away?

    It took about 3 days for the rash to go away.

    It caused my dd to have an upset stomach, I don't remember a rash. But, it took  maybe 3-4 days to go away. I felt so terrible, as I felt like I was poisoning her. But the doctor said just to keep on.

    Will was put on Cefdinir and Tamiflu at the same time when he was hospitalized for pneumonia. He didn't get a rash, but one of those two caused stomach problems. Cleared up almost as soon as he stopped taking them though.

    The rash went away when we switched antibiotics.  I'm not convinced it wasn't Roseola though since it showed up relatively late in her Cefdinir course. 

    But I have a LONG history of penicillin derivitive allergies so we switched her to be on the safe side.
