(stupid question) Is it okay for LO to suck the water out of a wet washcloth?

Lately LO will suck the water out of the washcloth I put on him while he's in the bath. I know this is a stupid question, but is it okay for him to be sucking the water out like that? I don't know when you would normally start giving water to a baby/ toddler...

    I don't think he'd get enough to hurt him.  A lot of water isn't good, but a little really won't hurt.

    My LO does the same thing...I figure like the PP said, she's not getting enough water to cause any harm.

    DS does the same thing.  i just give him his own washcloth so he doesn't suck on the soapy one.

    I use a separate one to wash him and put one on his belly to keep him warm. He always pulls it off and sticks one end in his mouth and goes to town if he isn't splashing water all over the place.
