9 month weights - for those who like to read this stuff :)

The boys haven't had a well visit since 7mos - then they were 18lbs+ and 23lbs+  (gray and gibby).

yesterday we went in b/c Gibby was sick- and asked to have them weighed.

Gray is now 20lbs + and Gibby is 26lbs +!!! They turned 9mo on the 15th.  I don't know the percentiles - didn't get them from the doc or look online - all I know is Gibby is wearing 24mo clothes now - the 18mo stuff he was wearing just got skin tight in the past week.  gray is wearing some 12mo, some 18mo stuff, depending on the brand.

  • I like to read this stuff :)

Sounds like everyone is doing well :) (except for Gibby being sick of course)

  • Wow! I wish my kids would grow like that. I have super tiny kids. Nathan and Morgan will be 3 on 4/27 and Nathan is 27 lbs and Morgan is 28. Logan is 22lbs and he's 15 months. Tiny tiny kids. (DH and I aren't the biggest of people though...I'm 5'0 and DH is 5'6" and I'm working on my weight issue- lol!)

I still can't believe that your boys are 9 months old already!!! Boy does the time fly!!!!

  • 2 thumbs up!!  Those are some healthy boys!!  Well, other than the sick part :)
  • Good weights.  I just want to add that I think your boys are so adorable- all of them.  I love the new pic in your siggy.

  • Thanks for posting this. We haven't been in since their 6 month appt when they both weighed 20 lbs and 20lbs 6oz. They go back in April for their 9 month appt, they turn 9 months on 4/15. Our favorite game is guessing how big will they be. Ours are in 12/18 month clothing, but neither of ours is in 24 months clothes yet. Holy huge babies. Good job.

  • thanks everyone :)

And FWIW - Griffin, who turns 3 on the 30th, weighs 39lbs :) He's in 4T now... his 3T stuff became floods about a month ago. He used to be almost as big as Gibby - almost!

  • What percentile is Griffin now? (I have no idea how big 2 year olds and up usually are. ;))

the calculator i found online just now says 91st percentile for Griffin's weight.

it says Gibby is 97th percentile

and Gray is 35th - my little peanut - though, I think that is off b/c you couldn't enter the oz- just the lbs... and he was 20lbs and change :)

  • I hear ya!!!!

DD is in the 98th % for her head and 94% for weight .... 87ish or + for height

DS is in the 60's  ..... but he is wearing 18m now ... DD can sometimes go up to 24 as well

I hope she'll grow into her head though

  • WOW.... that is great! I thought Jo was big because I just had to go get 18 months bc he is so big. I'm just curious are the 24 month cloths to long? Jordan needs 18 month cloths because his 12 months are way too tight, but even the 12 month is too long. Poor little jayden is in 6-9 months and they are too short. They are so opposites.
  • Nice big babies!!  I hope Gibby feels better soon!

Do you keep all the various sizes in their drawers?  I have been taking the old out and putting the new in but my little guy is starting to swim in the bigger clothes.  But I just hate having so many different sizes in such a small space.

  • i do keep both sizes in the drawers  - i have to- there is no way Gray can be in 24mo.  I have the left side of each drawer and the wardrobe as Gray's and the right is Gibby's.
  • Thanks, that is what I need to do too.  Good idea to sort them left and right.

I realized it this weekend b/c James is now walking around the couch holding on and he was stepping on his pants.  He is going to end up tripping and falling b/c of me!

  • sorry gibby was sick.  those are nice big babies!  we went today for our 9mos check, and ours are similar (not quite as big), and the thing about clothes sizing i don't like, is that at the 18mos stuff just gets so long.  vivienne needs BIGGER not longer :)

since you have older ds and larger twin gibby, that gray always feels light as a feather!
