Nervous - tomorrow is the day DH finds out if he still has a job

My DH works for a large company that had a merger a while back. They have gone through all the upper management levels and done lay-offs and moving people around. They had a period where people could volunteer for an early out and now tomorrow afternoon they are at my DH's level - people will be moved to a different, no change or be laid off. I am nervous although we think DH will be fine, until you know for sure, it is really hard. WHile part of me thinks his getting laid off would not be all bad if the severence package is anything close to what others have gotten in the past, it would still be stressful. DH has been with the company for 9 years and he is partly ready for a change although what he is doing now, is something that he loves and could really doors for his dream job so either way, I think we'll be OK but hoping he still has a job come end of day tomorrow.
