is DD's new favorite snack. I just got back from the grocery store. She saw me putting the carrots away and started gesturing and whining like crazy for them. So I asked her if she wanted carrots and ranch dressing (that's how I eat them as a snack) and she shook her head like crazy. She is now happily munching away on them.
Yay for a somewhat healthy snack!
P.S. I can't wait til she says more words but that's another post for another day.
Re: Carrots and ranch dressing
I'm still too chicken to give DD2 crunchy carrots, but I soften and quarter them for her.
Her big sister always has ranch dressing for her carrots so I decided to let DD2 have some of her own. I think she had about 10 baby carrots at lunch the other day. She LOVED it! The good thing is that she does actually eat the carrot, too. She doesn't just dip and lick like her big sister used to do.
LOL. DD definitely licks more than she eats but she does eat some.
It's the same way with fries and ketchup.
