So the initial plan was to have LO wear an outfit my siblings and I wore when we all came home from the hospital. Uh, yeah... that plan got squashed considering the outfit is almost 35 years old and just very dated. We'll be holding on to it for sentimental reasons since my mom kept it for so long, but I'm anxious to look for a going home outfit for LO.
If you have a going home outfit already picked out, please PIP - I'd love to see what other ladies are dressing their LOs in on their first trip home!
Re: PIP your LO's "going home outfit"

Of course we got it in newborn size. We also have the matching hat, socks, shoes and bib....its going to be so cute.....
We also brought a little sweater, doubt she will need it in May in Florida.
BRU. It's by Trend Lab. Hurry, I think it was on clearance a little while ago if I'm not mistaken.
we're team green so it was really hard to find something I wanted to use as the going home outfit - but I LOVE this sleeper so we splurged :-)

"Brynn" hat, custom made "lil sis" onsie (to match DS's "big bro" shirt) and brown pants.
Carter Robert 7.18.08 | Brynn Sophia 5.24.10 | Reid Joseph 9.10.12 | Emerson Mae 1.27.14
(our hat actually has little HABS symbols all over it, not just one in the middle, but I couldn't find a picture of it)
This
and I have one back up outfit, in case it doesn't fit right, but no pic.
Depending on the temperature,either this...
or this,
with these....
We have this dress with little leggings, matching hat and some socks that match and look like mary janes. It's a preemie outift since she's going to be small. We also have a couple back-ups including a newborn outfit in case she defies all odds and is bigger.
We bought 2 and which ever one we don't need will be returned.
For a boy:

For a girl:

The socks came as a set, but he'll be wearing the red ones with his onesie. The hat will also be red.
