I feel like I'm writing thank you notes everyday for all the gifts and clothes i've been recieving. Did you write a note to the doctor who delievered your baby? What did you say?
I sent a thank you note to mine and sent it with my announcement to his office. I really like my OB and he gave us the best birthing experience ever and let DH actually pull the baby out of me. I just wish I would've known in advance so I could've gotten a picture of DH's face when he was holding the baby right out of me. It was priceless. I pretty much just wrote thank you for everything and we couldn't have asked for a better doctor and a perfect baby.
We will be giving my OB one at my 6 week check up. She was amazing and gave me better care than I could have ever dreamed of having, both before I was pregnant and throughout my pregnancy.
yes i did-with both children actually. and included a picture-our dr. puts all her "baby" pictures in photo albums in her exam rooms. this time i told her thanks for being such a special part of our family's historical moments (she has delivered both our children), thanks for her support, her encouragement, her knowledge etc. just that we appreciate having her in our lives to protect us etc. i also wrote one to the ob nursing staff (it was on the picture card/birth announcements) and i thanked them for their dedication and quick service and hospitality and a special thanks to our delivery nurse for her encouragement and for taking pictures and her calm demeanor etc.
When all is said and done, we will be sending two thank you cards and a birth announcement to my OB. One thank you card for delivering our daughter and the other for going above and beyond and ordering a beautiful flower spray for MIL's funeral the following week.
I sent one to my L&D nurse. She was awesome and went waaaay above and beyond. At my 6 week appointment, I gushed to my OB about how great I think he is.
Re: Thank you Note to OBGYN
No... I think they should send us thank you notes for how much money they made off of us! hehe
