baby acne??

Atalie's face is breaking out, and it makes me so sad!  I hate seeing pimples on her sweet little cheeks.  Is there anything I can do to help clear it up?  Obviously I am not talking about acne treatments, but Kennedy never had any issues with it so we have no experience there.  I don't know if I should wash more or less, use moisturizer or not, etc.  I will google too, but I like nestie advice better!  Thanks!

    Both of our boys had it.  Our pedi told us to leave it alone and it would clear up on its own, and it did.  It took a long time, though.

    My DD is getting it too;  It seems like everyday there are more.  I haven't talked to pedi yet about it, but in the WTETFY book, it says that it's normal and will go away on its own.

    we just let it go until it started to get a really chapped look, then we put some cetaphil lotion on his cheeks and that really helped.

    I know, it's so hard to see icky bumps on sweet little baby cheeks. She'll outgrow it soon & you'll forget she ever had them. DS2 had baby acne from about 3 weeks to 9 weeks. We used Cetaphil soap to wash his face. I don't know if the Cetaphil did anything - probably more likely is that it just went away on its own. Good luck!

    Caroline had it bad for a few weeks. Her pedi said to just wash her face with warm water and it will go away after it has run its course.

    Steven got it really bad and he itched at it like crazy!  He would rake his hand back and forth on his forhead and the bumps would bleed.  :(  I read somewhere that if it seems to bother them you can put a tiny bit of Hydrocortizone cream on it and it cleared his up in like a day!  he didn't itch it anymore either.  But I was desperate and didn't call the pedi to make sure, so I would do that if I were you and only if it seems to bother her.
