which name do you like best? (Clicky)

I am like 95% sure we are going with the first name Gia, now on to the middle name. My first name is Regan and it is also a family name (moms maiden name) so I thought it might be cool to keep it going.

I understand, but I want to keep some Irish in her name. My last name starts with S and is very italian. I want some of my heritage in there as well! I think they flow pretty nicely so it doesn't bother me much!

  • I liked Gia Regan even before I read that it was a family name. I would totally go with that!

In that case, why not a pretty Irish name with mn Gia, Mia, or Gianna?  Regan O'Leary might sound better than Gia O'Leary (for example)

DH vetoes every irish name. it has been a BATTLE to agree on Gia as the first name. LOL.

  • I love Gia and think using a family name is perfect.

Ok I get this totally.  But the names don't really flow like you think they do.  I think that is what we are trying to tell you.  Gia is a beautiful name...let's try to find you a beautiful mn.

What about Siobhan, Kaitlin, Aileen, Carlin?

I just starting looking through my baby name book under Irish names.  There are some real pretty Irish names that will go nicely with Gia.  I laso saw Alanna, Blaine, Dierdra, Kyleigh...

BTW, you are such a cute pregnant chick!

  • None. And the middle names are all terrible.

  • I voted for Quinn - I've always liked that name.
  • honestly, given your connection to the name regan, i would probably use it even though i don't think it flows that well with gia.

Normally I wouldn't like Reagan, but since it's a family name it changes things, I think it would be great to keep the name going.

I clicked Gia Regan, but none of them really resonated with me.

  • My name is Regan too. While I like all of your middle name choices, I don't love them with Gia.  I chose Gia Ryan though.

Do you pronounce it Ree-gan or Ray-gan? Mine is Ree-gan.

I also was leaning toward Gia Ryan but the family name thing really appeals to me, hmmmmm.
