At what age did your baby first start smiling?

Just curious because DS is 6 weeks today, and she's still not fully smiling yet. She smiles and laughs in her sleep, but only does a half grin while awake. I was hoping she would be smiling before we took her Easter pictures (lol.. I know that sounds so vain.)

between 5-6 weeks. you should start seeing smiles soon!!

Not until closer to 8 weeks, to be honest. I think the ones I caught on film before then were still gas.

They were elusive, but between 5-6 weeks is when they started showing up. By about 6.5-7 wks he was smiling all the time.

For Abby it was much closer to 8 weeks, maybe even 9 before we got true simles from her. For J it was only around 5 weeks and then he was laughing at 8 weeks. So weird how different babies are.
