I hate it when people say "FML"

in 3rd Trimester
and when they say it, it usually isn't even over something terrible. "I ran out of toothpaste. FML." or " I'm starting P90X. FML." Sorry, random rant, but it really annoys the crap out of me.

    I'm with you!  It's kind of an ungrateful thing to say, in my opinion...  Unless something bad is *really* going on, then I'm pretty darn blessed!

    Have you heard anyone say it in real life, or just in a post?  I knew a girl in high school who used to say "LOL" or "J/K" out loud... I wanted to punch her in the face.

    I never knew what it meant and always wondered! I agree that it's pretty dramatic, especially if they say it over something so small!

    Unfortunately I have heard people say it out loud. It's right up there with LOL and J/K. I just don't get it.

    I hate that, too!  I feel like those people are attention seekers and want people to feel sorry for them.

    sadly i know some one that actually did F*** her life.  she got caught on deployment on a ship screwing two guys.  she posted FML on FB and i felt like saying yep you sure did!

    Ignore it? Just like those who start shi* on here to get attention, we ignore them and move on. Something so simple as to say FML really bugs the crap out of you just seems really silly Stick out tongue

    Really? What qualifies something to be serious enough to merit an "FML"? Last week at work, I was making a pb&j, and dropped the bread peanut butter side-down on the carpet. I said "Eff my life", and even my boss laughed. No good?

    Wow. Didn't know it was a crime to be annoyed. I assume, for those posters who find it stupid that I get annoyed by FML posts and utterances, that you don't get annoyed by anything. Good for you!
