  My husband asks that question every day...I hate it too.  Luckily he made some sort of beef burgundy recipe yesterday in the crock pot.

  Right there with you.  Its amazing to me how 3 little words are like nails to a chalkboard.  Its 1:30pm here and I'm home sick, I give him 30 minutes before he asks me, "whats for dinner?"

  I usually do... and he always responds with "I guess we're going to White Castles"

  WOOF (its his attempt at a lame joke and to dodge the question)

  I actually just got off the phone with him and asked what the plans were for dinner.... frozen pizza.... geez babe, don't go out of your way to make up a healthy meal or anything.  lol I feel like I'm in college again

  Once the kids get old enough, they do it too.

  My 12yo knows better than to ask that question less than 1/2hour after I pick him up from school.
