does anyone have good insurance coverage for maternity stuff? ob visits, labor etc? im trying to find independant health insurance before i get pregnant, and ive heard that many places consider pregnancy a pre existing condition! help!!
TTC since 9-5-09 BFP #1 7-19-10 missed m/c 9-3-10 BFP #2 1-12-11 stick baby! BFP #3 9-13-14. First u/s 10-10-14 TWINS!!

    I work in the insurance field, and yes, most (if not all) individual health insurance plans consider pregnancy a "pre-existing" condition.  Unfortunately if you are already pregnant you probably will find a hard time finding a plan to cover anything to do with pregnancy.  One exception would be if you end up needing a C-section, something of that nature.  If you have health insurance, surgical procedures will usually be covered.  Good luck!
