Gender-neutral color schemes?

Need some help from this wonderful board! I am working on a product for my small business and am designing some baby stuff but I want it to be gender-neutral.  Making things cute, but not too boyish or too girlish is hard.

What color combos do you like...for boys AND girls?
(Please be specific about colors!) Thanks for your help!

    I really like yellow, teal and brown together...

    This may sound boring but I tend to really like shades of tan/beige/brown/eggshell together.  I think it always looks really classy and shabby chic.

    I also like a kind of sage green or a muted maroon thrown into the mix. What kind of baby things are you making?
