Refinishing floors - Recommendations?

Looking for recommendations for floor refinishers. We have a quote from a family friend, but want to get a second quote for comparison's sake. We're in the Metro-West area. Or, if you've had your floors redone recently, do you remember approx. what you paid per square-foot? Thanks!

    We're just doing our 3 upstairs bedrooms - the rest of the house was done before we moved in. But we'll have to move the furniture out of two of the rooms (the to-be-nursery is vacant), and we'll have to move out of our house for a week b/c of the dust and fumes. No fun but I know it's better to get it done now than when the baby is here. What's the name of the company you're using?

    We had one company come out thus far, my husband is contacting one person who was referred to us, and we're going to have one more company come in before we make a final decision.  Tom's hardwood out of Quincy, MA is the one we had come by. https://www.tomshardwoodfloor.com/  It's a family business, the husband & wife came by to give us the estimate.  I'll update you on our progress & final choice.  We're planning on being gone for 4 full days and are staying up at our inlaws in NH from Friday - Monday...I am hoping the fumes will be gone & that the weather will be nice enough to leave the windows open while we're gone.  We're in the same boat, better to do it before baby comes, especially with all the additional things for the baby we'll be accumulating in the coming months!
