Adjusting to my baby's growing since of independance

Gianna doesn't really want me to feed her anymore.  She'll lay in my arms and hold her bottle.  This afternoon, she didn't want me to feed her at all.  She squirmed and did everything to get away from me.  I figured she wasn't hungry.  Nope, she just wanted to lay down and hold the bottle herself to eat.  Now that she's crawling and more moblie, she's changed so much.  She's discovered her sense of independance.  So sad!  But I'm proud of my little girl!

    Mia doesnt want me to hold her anymore before bed. I used to rock her to sleep but shes not having that anymore. She wants to go right to bed. I know, most people would like for their LO do go to sleep on their own but it was my bonding time with her. I miss it.

    Awe! DD is kind of starting to venture on her own.  She's not mobile yet and has little interest in crawling but she holds her own bottle and once she's ready to lay in her crib, she pushes off of me.  Sad.
