Anyone's baby on whole milk already?

I remember Kenley was on whole milk totally about a week before her first birthday, but I'm thinking about switching Kason now. He'll be 11 months in exactly 1 week and is just not interested in his formula anymore at all. He's been only drinking an ounce or two out of each of his bottles. He's much more interested in real food. So, did anyone switch before 12 months? If so, how old was your baby and did you just go straight to milk or did you transition slowly?

Our pedi doesn't even want us to start the switch until they hit 1 year.

We're on 12oz milk an 12 oz formula. 2 bottles milk/2 of formula.

We replaced a bottle of formula with a bottle of milk every week. DS is sick, so we've stopped the transition until he's better.

I honestly don't think it's going to hurt him (unless he is allergic). I don't understand why 1 is the magic number anyway. That said, no I did not switch before my pedi said to and DD was 1.

When my 1st DS was 11 months, I felt he was totally ready and made the switch. Within about a week of mixing formula with vitamin D milk, he was on 100% milk and was fine with it.

I was curious about this too but think i will just wait it out. I LOVE YOUR KIDS NAMES BTW!!! I have a friend with a Kenley but I have never heard Kason....so cute!! if i have a boy i am definitely using that!! well pending husband approval! but my brother is Jason so i think that would be really cool!!
