Bumper pads came with our crib sets and we are not planning to use them. Any ideas on what to do with them? Since there is a safety issue involved I am wary of passing them along on freecycle, but I don't want to just trash them either. We are tight on storage space, so I would like to find some use or home for them.
TIA
Re: Bumper Pads - what to do with them?
TTC #1 Cycle 14 - IUI#1=BFN, IUI#2=BFP | TTC #2 Cycle 8=BFP!!

as MrsTiara said, you will use them. Don't get rid of them. can you put them in plastic bags and store them under the bed or crib?
FWIW, we used ours from the 1st day DD went into her crib (at 1 mo old), she's always been a real mover and we decided to use them ( know the girls on the 0-6 board would probably want to kill me).
We also use them, and have since day 1. My LO never moves herself so her face is up against the bumper, but she spins around in the crib like crazy, and I'm positive her legs would get stuck if we didn't have a bumper.
If you're not going to use them, freecycle them. There are lots of parents who will use them, and would love free bumpers!
FWIW, we also used them with both kids when they started really rolling around and slamming into the crib. I can't remember how old they were... at first we used nothing, then we used breathable bumpers, then at some point when we heard one too many "WhacK! Aaaaa!" sounds (as in, head hits the crib side, child starts to cry) we put them up for both kids.
