So we weren't planning on getting a crib, but we were given one... So now I am wanting to get/make a mobile or something that can be attached to the crib. We don't have a nursery or theme. Any good suggestions, which mobile did you get?
I have one that was handmade by an Etsy seller. She has made lots of mobiles (including doing a mobile giveaway recently in my blog) and can make them to order if you contact her personally. Here's her page.
I love your mobile!! I'm a pretty crafty person, so I think I'm going to try and make a similar one in the same colors/animals that are on the crib bedding.

I plan on getting the one to match the Cat in The Hat sheet, we're having the rest of the bedding custom made though, And love the mobile pic from above!! too cute!
I was going with a super cute owl mobile from etsy.....but then I realized I was only doing it because it was aesthetically pleasing. It didn't move or play music & was $100. I settled on the tiny love mobile. It may not be as cute, but unlike regular mobiles it doesn't wind up & has 20 minutes of continuous play. It also has different movements which help aid in developing the babies eye movements, a night light, and it converts into a crib side music box. I kind of hate the way mobiles look honestly, but apparently they can be a lifesaver in a few extra minutes of rest
I love that mobile alyssajoy! We don't have a nursery or theme... So I am open to pretty much everything. I researched and thought about literally everything else for the last 9 months, so now I feel lost thinking about mobiles... Haha.
We got this mobile, and with its 20 minute play time, remote control, and nature sounds/soft light projection, it is a lifesaver. I put Jack down wide awake, and by the time this bad boy goes off, he's sleeping soundly.
it is great because I can press the remote from another room as she looks at it and puts herself to sleep. The projection is not too far away (newborns have poor eyesight) and she is fascinated my the projection and the animals moving around. It also has a daytime function for naps! It is worth every penny!

Get one with music, a remote, and projection!!! You won't regret it!!!
The ones that come with bedding sets don't do anything and become dust collecters.
I purchased this one for $39.99 https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2266791
