My DS will be 3 months & 3 weeks old when he goes to daycare. It will be in a woman's home with other children. Actually, its my old babysitter! She's in her mid 50's now. Anyway, what can I do to help make it easier on him? I can give him attention/get him when he cries w/o a second thought but when there are other kids involved he may have to wait sometimes. I hate thinking about him crying bc he won't understand...
TIA!
Re: Working mom's... how did you prepare your LO for daycare?
Ditto - DD is so interested in everything going on that she won't sleep very well at the daycare. The only real adjustment we had to make was bedtime and waking times. I started that about a week before she started going.
THIS!
This exactly! I didn't really do anything to prepare my daughter for daycare. Her first day, they told me she was their happiest baby (she's generally happy at home, too). I, however, cried the rest of the way to work. Your baby will be fine. It's the mommies that have a hard time with it.
