NBR: Girl Scout Cookies

So a friend of mine posted as her FB status that her daughter was selling Girl Scout Cookies. Apparently, I made quite the order and when my friend brought me my cookies, she brought me an EMBARRASSINGLY large box of cookies. I was like, OMG, I must have been feeling particularly pregnant. I guess my reasoning was that you can't get them year-round and I crave them all.the.time. Especially now.

So my question is, how long do they last, does anyone know? I didn't see an expiration date on the box. How long do they keep in the pantry and how long do they keep in the freezer?

The kicker to this story was that my friend found a box of cookies that had fallen out of the huge box. So my huge box couldn't even contain my order. Wow, Kelly, don't order Girl Scout Cookies when pregnant. HAHA

    All I have to say is yum, yum, yum. Love the Tagalongs (the peanut butter ones) and the Samoas (althought they're not called Samoas anymore-- they have a new name).

    I actually found some in my freezer from last year when I was putting the ones from this year in! They tasted fine, but I don't think they would have for much longer. I'd say keep them in there for a year, max.

    Oh, and YUM. :)

    I need to know how many boxes you ordered and when you're having me over to help you polish a few boxes off???  Lol.  Sorry I don't have an answer to your question.

    no idea how long they last, but my wonderful husband is making a special trip to a girl scout cookie stand to get me enough samoas to get through the pregnancy. a girl just can't do pregnancy without girl scout cookies! =)

    They last quite a while, and even longer in the freezer.  I'd say months in the pantry and a year+ in the freezer.

    the names haven't changed, it just depends on your region and baker.  Little Brownie Bakers = Samoas, and ABC Bakers = Caramel Delights.  Same Cookie.
