What do you have? What did your kiddo like? Any suggestions for one that's not HUGE? Our house is small, those things seem enormous, but my boy only wants to be upright (sitting, standing, bouncing).
My big boy is bounding towards 4! Baby brother coming in October!
Hipster dog is not impressed.
Re: Jumperoo? Exersaucer?
We had both. We had the Baby Einstein exersaucer and the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo. We bought the Jumperoo from a lady on Craigslist for ~$20.
We have a very small house (1650 sq. ft.) so big baby toys were (and still are!) a concern for us. We ended up keeping the jumperoo in the kitchen or study and the exersaucer in the living room.
not that we've used it yet, but we decided on just a jumperoo and not both. When looking at them in the store, we picked a jumperoo that had most of the same toys on it that the exercausers had.. .so we thought it was like getting two things at once. hope this works out to be true
that said, my friend with twins has one baby that LOVES the jumperoo and one baby that is much happier in the exercauser so i guess you never know which one your child will like.
We have both. We had the Exersaucer first and G wasn't crazy about it. I visited a friend that had the Precious Planet Jumperoo and G LOVED it. That was all the convincing that DH needed (he was previously very anti Jumperoo).
So now the Exersaucer lives in the garage and the Jumperoo is used for the little girl I babysit.
We used the baby einstein jumperoo. She loved it and I just finally took it apart and put it up. I bought it used from a client.
I later her put her in an exersaucer and she acted like it was the most boring thing in the world! Most of the fun she got was from the jumping, so the exersaucer just wasn't fun for her.
We have a Fisher-Price Jumperoo, and have used it with both kids at around 4.5 mos. and older.
The one that is a circle that connects together seems to be the smallest footprint.
Both boys have really enjoyed it and you only need it for a little while. Then, you take it down and store it for the next or give it away.
