When we first had DD, she went to bed about 11pm. Now she goes to bed sometime between 9:30 and 10pm. She is starting to get crabbier at night so that makes me think she needs to go to bed earlier, so last night she was in bed by 9pm. She STTN and was up at 5am, then back to bed and is still asleep now. I am always hearing of people putting their LO to bed at 7 or 8pm. Should I be starting this now or is it just a personal choice?
Re: When did you start putting LO to bed earlier?
I selfishly do not want her to go to bed too early, for fear she will wake up even earlier. I'm with you on this one, but I feel guilty keeping her up.
LO was going to be at his own time, anywhere from 9 pm to 11pm, this was the first few weeks. Now we give him a bath around 7:30 or 8, then DH gives him a bottle of pumped BM, then we put him to bed awake or not at 9, he will put him self to bed with in a few minutes.
Although, we do get up tp feed between 1 and 2, then 5 am, I feed him then change him then put him down, again he will put him self to bed in about 10 minutes if hes not super sleepy.
Some days this is easier than others, he still likes to do his own time sometiems.
Since we have to get up so early and I'm exhausted, I go to bed with he does otherwise I won't get much sleep. He has been STTN for the past week.
