how does everyone feel about kate gosselin on DWTS?

 my only issue w/ it...i don't categorize her as a "celebrity".. per say.

    I think it was brilliant on ABC's part....the woman needed more exposure!  Confused

    Of course, I am sure they will get more ratings by having her on it....so it probably was brilliant on their parts......

    I HATE that they got Brooke Burke to be the new co-host though....Melissa Rycroft would have been MUCH better!

    I know she is allowed to have her own life even though she has a lot of kids, but my understanding of DWTS is that they are constantly rehearsing.  I don't think that is really fair to her family. 

    I agree with you about her not  being a celebrity too.

    I have issues with the fact that the show is in California and the kids are in PA (I think still).  Is Jon going to watch them while she is training/practicing?  I have have enough issues finding time to workout with 1 kid, let alone 8.

    I agree with you about her not  being a celebrity too. 

    She says she has a space in her basement and that she is rehearsing after they go to bed I believe (which means she is going to be wayyyy behind the people practicing 6-8hrs/day)

    I think that after the end of their TLC show she should have just stepped completely away from the limelight for awhile. It just seems that the kids could really benefit from having her around and not with their nanny 24/7. Who knows though, I guess we don't really know what happens behind closed doors.

    I would love to watch this season because the skater is from Naperville (where we just moved from after 7 years there).  However, she ruins it for me.  I won't watch it now.

    She says she does "everything for her kids".  Why is she always going away on these "money ventures" rather than staying home with them during this difficult transition?  Money isn't everything and she has done so many things, cut back on your expenses & be home.  My parents separated when I was almost 18 & divorced while I was away at college - I needed my family then and I was a teenager.  I can't imagine how these kids are doing given the very public & nasty nature of their parents' situation(s).
