Vibes, T&P needed please

I mostly just keep up with everyone on the board these days, so I rarely actually post myself. This weekend has been horrible in our town. I was so excited Friday about the birth of little Mari, for Cristina and Peter as they embark on this journey of parenthood. Then Saturday was such a shocker. Saturday night we went to a party for a close friend's 30th birthday held by his wife at our church. Josh and I left, went to our house to pick up some ceiling fans to exchange at Lowe's and headed that direction. As we went through town, we heard the fire trucks and passed them. After leaving Lowe's and Wal-Mart, I got a phone call that the brother of my best friend from high school had been killed in a motorcycle crash. He was 18, and had been to a nearby town to pick up his 17 year old girlfriend to go visit some friends who were in from college this weekend. Apparently, a guy pulled out of an apartment complex and never even saw them. The two of them died on the scene, and the guy in the car was life flighted and in critical care yesterday, but has apparently died now as well. This happened right down the street from our former high school, and has just been awful. My friend had actually been in town this week and had been driving back to Knoxville with her husband (about a 4 hour drive) probably as all of this happened. It's been so horrible because the father of these two had a motorcycle crash himself about 10 years ago that has left him handicapped.

The first visitation is at the funeral home today at 4, and a joint-funeral for the girlfriend and Noah will be on Wednesday at the largest church in our town. The family is devastated, and the mom has emotional issues from time to time. Please send any vibes, thoughts and prayers that you can to our little town and especially this family. Noah was a great kid with a lot of life in him that apparently was not God's plan for him. His father is a preacher, but I know that even he could use strength the next few days. Thanks.
