Breast pump ??

I am borrowing my sisters pump and it took forever just to get an ounce of milk.  How long does it take for you to pump a good amount??  I was thinking her pump might not be the best for me.  TIA

    I pump for 10 mins or whenever the milk stops coming (whichever is longer).  I have a Medela PISA

    To answer your question it REALLY varies from woman to woman. It takes me about 10 minutes to get five ounces or more depending on the last time I fed DS. I have a Medela Pump In Style.

    How old is you LO?  If he/she is only  a few days old, an ounce is great.

    Looks like you are still pregnant, so I would not expect more than an ounce.  Even if baby is just a few days old an ounce is still a good amount.

    I have the Ameda Purely Yours and I am able to pump 4-5oz's (that's with both breasts) in about 7mins.

    LO is 4 days old so is an half ounce considered a lot?
