RP: Possible BFP...and a question

I POAS this morning, it was a First Response, I really can't tell if my eyes are playing tricks on me, but I think I can see a VERY faint line. I am supposed to get AF on Tues or Wed so my question is if I run up to the store is there a good early pregnancy test other than First Response? TIA!! ***Update***Thanks for all of your advice ladies...I have no will power and just bout 2 Walgreen brand FRER and I've got a line!!! This time I could actually see the 2nd line without holding it up to 10 differnt lights!! Can't wait for my DH to get home tonight to tell him.

I personally would wait a few more days and then test with a clear blue digital.

can you post a picture? I used FRER and it was accurate 5-6 days before period

Also the ones i bought from the dollar store came up faster/sooner than the expensive ones

I prefer the FRER (the one you used), they have a new pitch that they can detect HCG 6 days before your missed period, so @9dpo.

Digitals are generally less sensitive than line tests, and FRER are pretty much the most sensitive line tests out there. I would go buy a 2 or 3 pack, take another one later today just for fun then take one with your FMU tomorrow. I'm a big fan of digitals for total confirmation bc there's no denying it when "PREGNANT" is staring at you

You should wait until tomorrow to test again. But if you really are set on testing today, don't drink anything else and hold you pee for at least 2 hours, I'd also test again with a FRER, then if it's darker, confirm tomorrow with a first response digital gold, I got a faint line on a FRER and got a yes on the gold the same day. i got a very faint at 10dpo with FRER so i took a few more and they were all faint, there was my answer!

so perhaps test again tomorrow with teh same test? they are extremely sensitive!

Not that you really need another answer...but I took the FRER with just the lines (not digital) on Thursday morning and had a very faint line. I then waited two more days and took another test and the line was a darker. With FRER, any line counts (with the normal caveat that nothing is 100%).

When I first tested I used a first response and couldnt decide if my eyes were playing tricks on me or if there was a line. I posted a similar question on the TTGP board and most of the ladies on there convinced me that it was probably just an "evaporation line" that I saw (although now i'm pretty sure it was a line!)... so I went out and got a digital and that was negative (but I believe they are less sensitive..). Then I waited 5 days and tested with a first response again and this time saw a real line and then also tested with a digital with said "pregnant" just too confirm! But yes, it can be very confusing. It might just be too early, you may have to wait a few days.

I went to the Dollar Tree, if you have one in your area go there, they are $1 of course...so I bought like 3 of them. They can detect the smallest amounts of hcg and they are very accurate. I tested with that then I got my positive and I went a bought a Clearblue digital one just to make sure...lol.

The first test I took had such a faint line, I wasn't sure it was really there or if the test was faulty. Two days later, same brand, line was darker. And another day or two, it was bright blue. Somewhere in there, I bought the test that says pregnant or not pregnant in the window--I definitely recommend that one, no mistaking what word is in the window. Good luck.
