I went to a birthday party for my friend's son last weekend. There were a bunch of my girlfriends that I hadn't seen since I had Ellie. Most of them are getting ready to start their own families or have LO's already.
I wore Ellie in the Moby and got so much positive feedback! I was relieved since I thought for sure that I would be explaining myself due to the whole "sling debacle of 2010". Not the case. Everyone wanted to know what it was, how it worked, where they could get it...
They were impressed at how cozy she was in it and how much freedom it gave me. I explained that if I didn't wrap there is no way that I would have ventured out to a park with my 4 week old baby.
Bonus- no one was pawing all over her or asking to hold her.
I gave out some info for good websites and felt like I had spread the good word.
There is hope!

That's great!
I've often thought about bringing an extra wrap to things like that to show interested parties how it works and let them try it out.
That's how I got hooked!
