Re: what's for dinner?

  • A ticker!!!!  Yay!!!!

No clue what's for dinner.  I just stuffed my face with nachos.  Gotta stop doing that now that I am done pumping.  Sigh.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

i'm still nervous that i put the ticker up so early, but hell, i've waited long enough for one, so i'm doing it!

  • No way!  It isn't too early.  3 weeks would have been too early, but you saw the heartbeat and you deserve this!

I have been meaning to ask you (totally off topic, sorry)... do you credit SIRM for your sticky baby?  People always ask what we did differently with our sticky cycle, and I am not really sure.  Do you think in your case it was a change in protocol?  More experienced docs?

i do credit sirm for providing the new protocol.  i think that their lab was probably comparable to the other REs we went to.  the truth is that i did a long lupron this time (which is what i did the first 3).  the only changes were baby aspirin daily, low dose dexamethasone, and intralipid infusions.  i still can't believe that the first sirm cycle worked.  crazy!
