First trip to the zoo today!

We went with some friends and their DS who is older and was able to look at some of the animals and kind of get it. DS just rode in the stroller happily and slept most of the time, but we somehow had two MAJOR diaper blowouts and once there was no place to change him so I ended up having to just lay his changing pad down in the grass, LOL. I noticed some people giving me looks of pity.

    I hate when there's nowhere to change them! I've actually had to lay everything down on a bathroom floor before because there is no changing station. DH had to change her once in Sam's Club because the changing station in the women's was broken. Lol

    I love the zoo!  I can't wait to take DS there.  I already took him once, when I was 5 weeks pregnant, but he didn't get to see anything. Stick out tongue

    We got info in the mail for getting annual passes to our local zoo. It's only $69 for a family and I plan on taking Robert at least once a week (starting in the next couple of months, since he's a preemie). You also get 6 guest passes and if you pay $15 more you get an extra 6. We are planning to do the $84 package so my Mom can go with us more than a couple of times. I can't wait to take him to the zoo.

    Holy cow your zoo is cheap!  That's awesome!  Our's is $125 for season passes for me, DD1, and DH.  LO falls into the under 2 yr free category.  If we want to add a guest pass to be able to bring an additional person, like a grandma or a friend, it's an extra $70!  Too much for me.
