Where should I shop for maternity dress pants and jeans?  Preferably I'd like to stay in the $25 or less category and that have the 'secret-fit belly' that goes almost up to your bra.  Are there any maternity thrift stores that you know of?  Someone just told me about one here in Council Bluffs that is have a closing sale that some of you might want to check out.  It is a thrift store for baby/kids clothes but I hear it has maternity too.  It is by K-Mart.  My friend told me some of the kids clothes she was looking at were normally like $1.60 and then like 60% off that bc they are closing.

    Thanks!  I just went to the store that I was talking about.  It's called Once Again Kids Closet.  I got so many maternity clothes for myself!  I couldn't find many pants that were long enough though.  I swear they think all pregnant women are short!  I'm only 5'7".  Most of the shirts I got were regularly $3 and then it was 70% off of that!  The kids clothes were even cheaper and they were 50% off!  There is even clothes there that aren't maternity for women.  They are going out of business and they close at the end of the first week of April.  I warn you it is cold in there and they don't really have a 'dressing room' you just have to use the bathroom but there is enough room.

    Good to hear.  Where is that thrift store?  I work downtown so I could always jump over to CB for lunch and shopping.

    I got some really cute jeans at kohls 2 years ago with my first. I also got some black pants that were dressy and very confy, I wore them all the time.  I dont think they were that much.  motherhood prices are not bad either.

    I am suprised to hear that that store is closing. It only opened up last year. The owner approached me wanting to sell my baby wraps (and other stuff I make) in her store. I just didn't end up doing it. I think she also has a consignment sale called the same thing (as the store). Was there a lot of stuff left? Wasn't a lot of it also new things?

    Anyway, I like to get my jeans from Gap or Old Navy (maternity of course). I have had some luck at consignment sales too. I really like the Twice As Nice Kids Consignment sale for that stuff.

    Well today I went back and bought a ton of baby clothes etc.  7 grocery bags full!  I don't know the sex yet so I pretty much took every green or yellow thing I saw.  As of today all of their clothes are 75% off.  Starting Mon everything (used) will be 50 cents or $1.  Their last day is next Wed the 31st.  At the moment their new things are 50% off.  I got a new Moby wrap and car seat cover.  I wish they would stay open long enough for me to find out the sex of my baby!

    I'm guessing you can't try on the maternity things there?  Is it a mad house?  Are the prices really that good on things?  I hate that it opens during the week.
