Going to IKEA and seeing Lib today :)

I'm EXHAUSTED.  My mom told me we'd be done with my brother's wedding around 9 o'clock.  Turns out my brother didn't have the limo come get them until 10 then the dude was late.  We sat there waiting to go (because we rode with my parents) until 10:30.  I was about to fall asleep at our table.

We had to stop to get contact solution for me and by the time we found somewhere open (we THOUGHT Jewel was open 24hr) it was after 11pm.  I was cranky and I almost cried when Jewel was closed LOL  I've been in bed asleep by 9 every night but two for the past 2 weeks. Sleepy doesn't even begin to describe it.

Today we're going to IKEA and having lunch out and MrsLib's going to meet us there.  Should be a good day but I'll probably need a nap later!  I'll have MrG take a pic and I'll post it later.

How's everyone doing?

    Sounds exhausting! So the wedding was yesterday and not today? Other than the end of the night fiasco how was everything else?

    Today sounds like it will be a lot of fun for you

    Yeah it was last night.  The weather was absolutely GORGEOUS.  It was perfect while the sun was out and (obviously) started getting chilly when it got dark.  Today it's cloudy and snowing so it was perfect timing.

    The ceremony was... strange (mostly because of the pastor).  My SIL is Universalist and I'd never been to a Universalist wedding before.  I did not like the pastor.  She was extremely crass and obnoxious.  She wouldn't even let the professional take pictures during the ceremony so they have NO pictures of things like the unity candle.

    We had a good time at the reception.  DH decided to take advantage of the open bar.  He said that since I was eating for two he'd be drinking for two LOL

    My DH said the exact same thing when I *jokingly* told him that since I couldn't drink for 9 months then he shouldn't be able to either. LMAO

    That is too bad about the pastor, I would have been very mad! Glad that everything else was good though Smile

    Oh that sounds fun!  Not the waiting for the limo part, but the going to IKEA with Lib.   I love her taste and wish I had half or even a third of her amount of style in home decor.  Our apmt is so boring, and I try to decorate but it usually looks cluttered.
