My LO will be 4 weeks on Monday and I have been giving him 4 oz thus far, unitl a little while ago i gave him a 5oz bottle for lunch. He seemed to tolarate it just fine but Im wondering if thats to much for his age?

    It sounds like a lot, my LO is 10 weeks and is drinking 4 oz's per feeding.  I think when she was 4 weeks, it was 2-3 oz's every 2-3 hours

    My DS is 10 weeks today and I have been giving him 5 oz for the past 3 weeks.  At 4 weeks he was getting 3 oz. It does seem like a lot, but if that is what he wants. It would be worse if you did not give him enough.

    The amount usually recommended is about 2.5oz per pound your baby weighs, every 24 hours. So my 9lb LO takes about 22-23oz per day or 4 oz at each of his 5-6 feeds per day.
