This morning he started whining for me at like 6:30 am like he normally does, and after a few minutes I looked at the monitor and his leg was hanging all the way out.. I've seen this on the monitor before and he always is able to get it back out. But this morning when I went in to get him his let was literally STUCK. No matter how I twisted, turned or tried to otherwise maneuver it out it would not budge.
Thank GOD my dad was in the living room and I ran to get him, sure that we would have to saw him out! After a few minutes my dad found the right agle to release his leg, it was sort of like we had to lift his thigh up WITH his leg (he was lying on his tummy).
Poor Jasper was crying the whole time and saying "Mommy, Stuck!"
Has this happened to anyone else? Is it because at 19 months he's too big now for a crib?? Not sure if it's a one time freak sort of thing or not.
Re: Jasper's Leg got stuck in his crib :(
That is so scary! It did happen to Nolan not too long ago. We almost cut the crib to get him out. It was between the bars and mattress...I was FREAKING OUT!
Ugh, it's the worst! Feeling so helpless because you can't help them right away! His was just stuck between the slats, not the mattress.. I still have no idea how he got it out that far in the first place!
