Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Could he have my allergies?

DS has had a weak, dry cough this week and has been sneezing.  He coughs in a series of 3, usually, and will do this maybe 3 or 4 times a day.  He doesn't really sound or seem sick -- no fever, no behavioral changes.  I've been a little miserable this week because the tree pollen count is high.  Could he have my seasonal allergies?  I would think he's too young for them (and I EBF and thought that was supposed to help prevent allergies), but I can't come up with another explanation.

  • My baby sneezes three times in a row all the time.  I think it is normal.

Agreed.  The sneezing is pretty normal, I think.  But the cough is new . . .

  • If the allergies seem really bad you should try out the Nose Frida, its a nasal aspirator but it works better than the old school blue ball sucker thing.  Once you get past the squeemish part, it works really well. There's a little filter so no boogies get into your mouth. check it out!

Wow, that's really interesting.  I'm going to show DH.  I hate sticking that bulb up in DS's nose.
