Making a playmat for DS

I'd like to make a play mat for DS to play on naked. I'm thinking PUL on one side and a stay-dry fabric on the other should get the job done. Besides fleece and suedecloth are there any other stay-dry fabrics?

I like this idea I might have to do this also. However my DD is rolling a lot so i would have to stay near her to make sure she stayed on the mat.
