I took a test this afternoon and it was negative. Just went to throw it away, and there was a faint line. I'm SURE it's an evap line. My period is here. Right? RIGHT?!

I would be very excited if I am pregnant, of COURSE... but, there would be no NK9 if I am. And it's a healthy pregnancy.
I'm sure it's an evap line. It's gotta be. Didn't see it in the 10 minutes. Or maybe I dozed off too quickly? WHY AM I SO TIRED THIS WEEK?!
My progesterone was low which is indicative of no O. But someone in my post from earlier also had low progesterone (under 10) and was KU with DS that cycle. So, it's possible. I have no freaking clue. Guess I will test in the morning. I'm probably not.
If it was beyond the time limit, then it's probably an evap line, although I never had one with the internet cheapies.

Given the available information I deem this:
An evap line.
But test again in the morning, just to be sure.
I have had a evap line on a negative dollar store cheapie, but it was hours after the test had expired. Don't know if this helps.
Do you have another test you could take to put your mind at ease?
How long after you peed did you see the line?
Maybe a dumb question, but why couldn't you do both?

Umm... I dunno! I wiped and saw red blood on my TP this morning. It was watered down, but today is the day my period typically starts based on past LPs. So, I thought for sure it was here. I've been spotting for the last 4 days. I am so freaking confused. I will just have to test in the morning to clear things up, but since I didn't see the line within the 10 minutes, I'll call it an evap line.
He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be. He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.
Did they put you on progesterone?!
I cannot have another repeat. Not a third time. If I am pregnant (which I think is a longshot at this point), I clearly need some progesterone. Would it even be effective at this point?
Totally random... but is this why my stupid ticker won't change to CD 1 even though I put in light flow for today?! lol I have tried to get it to change for the life of me, but I cannot.
Retesting in the AM is all I can do...

I'm on the east coast and get up at 5am. So I'll pee around then and post within a couple hours from that. But don't get your hopes up -- it had to be an evap line. Plus I am bleeding/spotting or whatever the hell I'm doing, which can't be a good sign even if I were pregnant.
They didn't put me on any, didn't seem concerned. She said that it was considered "good" for a non-medicated pcos cycle. She said with medicated, they only look for 10.
I'm not an expert though, I'm just repeating what they told me.

It had color. But again, so faint, and after the 10 minute window. The control line is a dark purple, so the "evap line" was a super light purple. I suppose it could actually be grey, hard to tell with it being so light. Only time will tell.
I used an internet cheapie when I got my BFP. The idiot that I am didn't wait long enough to see a line, so I tossed it. They didn't come with directions, so I came here to ask the botb ladies how long it took to see a line. I went back at least 10 min later, and the second line was there but verrrry faint. Tested again in the am, another bpf.
