How bad is this??

So last night DS decided that he would wake every 2 hours to eat instead of 3-4. I'm exhausted! At 1:00 I fixed him a bottle and sat down in the rocking chair. 

Fast forward to 2 hours later. I open my eyes thinking that I had just closed them for a few seconds and continue to give DS his bottle. I had no idea that I had fallen asleep for 2 hours as did DS when his bottle popped out of his mouth. Therefore I didn't realize that i had given him a 2 hour old bottle until a while later.

He doesn't seem upset to his stomach or anything. What happens when you give old bottles??

    Generally the nutrients break down and so the bottle isn't that terrific after an hour.  You didn't reheat the bottle and LO is none the worse for the wear.  I wouldn't stress too much about it, just not something that should be done. The rule is the bottle is good for an hour once the baby has started feeding (after you've warmed the bottle etc.) and 24 hrs in the fridge.

    24 hours in the fridge only if it wasnt drank from.

    Also, my formula lasts 48 hours in the fridge. Read the container.

    My supply tanked and after a lot of debating, I decided to FF. It is working out great for us.
