Do you hold LO while they brush their teeth?

DD is too short to stand at the sink to brush her teeth and I honestly doubt a stool will help much more at this point unless it is a small ladder. lol Her new vanity is much taller than her old one.  I like for her to be able to look in the mirror while she brushes so she can see what she's doing.

Do you hold LO while they brush their teeth? Sit them on the sink? Something else?

    I hold her and we brush our teeth together, then I help her finish.  She loves it.

    DS sits in DH's lap and I brush his teeth.  At what age did you start letting your LO brush her own teeth?  I'm sure DS wouldn't be able to do it yet (he's 16 months).

    i let her sit on the counter and we brush together.  she LOVES to brush her teeth!

    She sits on my lap in her room - she "brushes" and then I get a turn.  It took about 3 weeks or so before she didn't scream when it was my turn but now she loves it.  I want her to be able to look in the mirror but our mirror is so high up, if we don't move in the next few months I'll figure something else out, I think she would get more out of it if she could see what she was doing but right now I'm more concerned about developing the healthy habit of brushing without a fight.

    I sit the kids on the counter and for DD brush her teeth myself. For DS he still brushes ok, but I usually have to help him finish too.

    i usually let her brush her own teeth but she has only 4! 2 top and 2 bottom. when she gets more, i will brush it for her and then let her "play" with it for awhile.

    i brush his teeth for him.. and yes, I hold him..

    i would imagine he would just try to eat the toothbrush or stick it up his nose if I didn't do it for him..

    he does his in the bathtub at night. we rarely do it more than once a day Embarrassed
    in the bathtub i take a turn until he grabs it, then he has his turn, then he hands the brush to me and i take a few more swipes and call it good
