Do you & DH still celebrate the anniversary of when you first started dating?

DH was all sad that we both forgot the anniversary date of our first date, we use to always celebrate by going out to dinner. Does anyone still celebrate the anniversary of their first date?

    this was the first year we didnt :(

    it was just too much being right after DS's birthday and Christmas

    We do..  since he also proposed on the anniversary of our first date, so it now has double meaning.

    Nope. I don't think we ever did anything special, actually... Now that we are married, the only anniversary we celebrate is our wedding anni.

    we don't and never did.  i think it was around feb. but i really couldnt even say for sure!

    We acknowledge it but don't celebrate it. It's on Tax Day, so it's pretty hard to forget. We only celebrate our wedding anniversary.

    We usually talk about it every year and say Happy Anniversary but we only celebrated the 1st couple years(before kids).

    My parents however had their first date 30 years ago on March 14 and yes they celebrate EVERY year. They spent the weekend OOT this year because it had been 30 years.

    We never have.  I think we usually acknowledge it but don't "celebrate" in any way.

    Nope, we don't celebrate it.  

    Kinda off topic, but today is our 5 year engagement anniversary.  DH didn't realize that, and when I mentioned it, all he said was, "oh, really?"  That was kind of a bummer.  Huh?

    It's easy to remember because it's my mom's birthday, so we try to. By try to I mean that we try to go to the same type of restaurant we went to that night (a tapas place) sometime within a month of the date.  :)  It's actually this Friday so I don't know if we have much hope this year, though.

    We still celebrate the anniversary of when we first became BF/GF.  We dated for 8 years before we got married, and our bf/gf anniversary is New Year's Day, so its pretty easy for us, we just go out every NYE.

    We got engaged on NYE, too.

    not only do we not celebrate it, I don't even remember when it was!

    (in fairness, it was 18 years ago :)
