  Our toy room is pretty simple.  We have our old Ikea couch, a traintable in the center and storage cubbies.  Lots of floor space for playing/puzzles.  No real theme, but I do plan on framing some of his artwork/paintings for on the walls.  The walls are a grass green color.

  Ikea has these really cool bin units we bought for toys. The are mix and match so you can built them how you'd like.

  I like the cube type shelves with baskets, and hanging square canvases or standouts of photos of your kids on the wall.

  We also bought a shelf from Ikea and put cubes in it. We have it laying on it's side so the boys can reach everything. Also in the same furniture line, I think it is Expedit, we have a desk that is very simple with those cubby shelves on the side. I'll find the link and send it to you.
