XP: Question for those with school-aged kiddos

Hi! I'm popping over from the nest with a couple quick questions if you don't mind answering for me!

I have a question (okay, a couple questions) for any of you that have school aged kids.  What is the primary way you find out about summer camps being offered (through the school, search engine searches, specific sites, etc.)?  What would you pay for an instructional camp (music) that met for a week in the mornings (half-days)?

TIA!

We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

Re: XP: Question for those with school-aged kiddos

  • My son gets flyers sent home on Thursdays with information on afterschool activities, camps, etc. We also received a recreational booklet a few weeks back with all sorts of activities listed.  I believe the prices range from $125-$250.  HTH!

  • I read on the Austin Chronicle's site about camps, as well as through word of mouth.  I have seen some as low as a hundred, but most are in the range of the previous poster.
