  Labor can decide to kick into gear @ any time.  Your dialation or lack thereof means nothing.  I hope you go into labor on your own before next week

  I know you feel disappointed, but just think of the induction date as a deadline for now, anything can happen.

  bummer

   

  I was just watching last nights episode of 90210 and said to myself "man, I could be sitting here at this time next week doing the exact same thing"     That depressed me.

   

  Let's hope our LO's decide to come out before then!!  I don't even have an induction scheduled yet.  Doc said we would schedule one at my appt next Tues, if we need to.

  I'm the same and Dr is talking induction on the 26th. Lets hope things get started on their own!

  With my DS, I went to my 40 week appointment and nothing was happening.  We scheduled my induction for one week later.  I was very disappointed too.  However, lo and behold, my water broke at 1 a.m. the next morning (approx. 14 hours after my appointment) and my son arrived about 14 hours after that!  So, don't be disheartened.  Good luck!
